Personal Credit Information
Your privacy is important to us. The only personal information that you share with us is your name, shipping address location. Your email is asked for as a contact reference in case of a change in the order. If an order is out of stock or back-ordered, you will be contacted immediately. When you use your credit card through our secure shopping cart, you are entering a "https" encrpytedd area that is linked to the "transaction" terminal. Home Magnolia staff never sees a completed list of your card numbers. On the transaction reports, most of the numbers are XXXXXed out. Credit card data goes to the computer terminal, which then processes a transfer of $ from your bank to ours, called a "capture" which is designated by the amount in the shopping cart form. It takes approximately 24-48 hours, so you should be able to access the transaction information from your own online banking account within 1-2 days. This is a standard process with all authentic internet retail stores with shopping carts. (Never enter credit card information unless you are in a secure "https" area. Most will also show the locked logo in the address bar.) Home Magnolia is owned by K B Freeman Enterprises. Our merchant shopping cart uses Authorize.net through Pay Pal Merchant services. You can find out more about PayPal at www.paypal.com, a well established shopping cart merchant service provider. You do not have to have a PayPal account to purchase a product. The shopping cart also allows for direct credit card purchases not associated with PayPal accounts.
What if I don't want to put my credit information over the web?
Mailing Lists
For the Home Magnolia website, your name, address, and email contact information go into our buying customer data base after you have purchased a product. You are automatically put on our mailing list as a happy customer. We promise not to flood your email account with nagging ads. Whenever the coupon code changes, we like to let our satisfied customers know that they can get a 10% discount all the time. So, when the season changes, or if something exciting and new has been added that would be worth your time to see, then we will send a short message to update you on the latest products of interest, approximately four times a year. If you do not want to ever hear from us, that is ok, just send us an email to remove you from the customer list or make a note at the time of purchase, and we will delete your email address. We NEVER sell, lend, lease, or give any information to anyone or any organization.
Special note about children
This Site is a very family friendly site. There are no violent or sexual images on any of the pages on the Home Magnolia website. Toys are non-violent, educational, and enriching. Poems, verses, art, home accents are purposely chosen to be uplifting and positive for your home atmosphere. Your children can browse on every page and come up with great ideas for your Christmas or birthday present!
What are cookies? Why do we use them?
